The BEST Hiking Group organizes hikes designed to be a casual gathering of BIW employees and their families and friends, exploring areas of Maine together.
To join a hike, employees just need to show up at the location at the specified start time. BIW swag is often provided before the hikes. For notifications in case of weather cancellation, email communications@gdbiw.com.

Note: These dates/hikes may change depending on weather or other BIW events. Hikes will typically occur every 3rd and 5th Wednesday, and every 2nd and 4th Saturday. Weekend hikes will typically start at 9:30 a.m. and weekday hikes around 4 p.m.
