Toolbox Label

This toolbox label, which was found in the ground while constructing the Kitting Terminal, was made in late 1980 or early 1990. On it was the employee’s name, location and old badge number. As it was required to have a label for all toolboxes in the shipyard, he constructed his label in the Pipe Shop using a stainless-steel blank normally used as a permanent label for valves. It was required that such labels be stamped so that they could be read, even if they became splattered or covered with paint.
